ABSTRACT

The Higher Education management consists ofautonomy in the academic field, including the establishment of norms, operational policies, research, and community service under the regulations. In carrying out the roles of the higher education institutions in the higher education organization, there are work units/functions or units at different levels or groups, either because of the duties, responsibilities, and positions, as well as the origins of the employees. In addition, the status of the Covid-19 was officially declared a pandemic by the WHO on Thursday, March 12, 2020, and it has changed the entire order of people 's lives, including the implementation and management of education, significantly higher education. This condition needs to be bridged with the consistent of a management that is expected to function as an organizational link so that the objectives of Higher Education can be achieved. In responding to the challenges faced, universities must create an integrated management model to ensure the fulfillment of the quality of graduates with strategic policies to outline the institution 's future journey.

ABSTRACT

The number of coffee shops has increased over the past five years. It is driven by the change of the lifestyle of today’s society who chose coffee shops as a place to do activities such as meeting discussions working on assignments etc. The presence of the COVID-19 pandemic since the beginning of 2020 also making an impact on various types of businesses including coffee shop. Work coffee Indonesia is one of the coffee shops that exposed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although being exposed by the impact of the pandemic work coffee Indonesia still able to survive by doing various promotional activities. Marketing communication becomes one of the tools to maintain the market of business. Therefore, this research aims to find out about coffee shop marketing communication in facing the COVID-19 pandemic with the work coffee Indonesia case study. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive-qualitative design with a research technique used is a case study. It is known in this research that the importance of marketing communication role in maintaining a business and expanding consumer market particularly while experiencing unforeseen circumstances such as COVID-19 pandemic.

ABSTRACT

Food security in a household can be measured with stability and security of an availability household staple food. COVID-19 has an impact on the agricultural sector and farmers thus affecting their income and automatically affecting their household food availability. To avoid the crisis caused by this pandemic small farmers must carry out unusual strategies to maintain food availability in their households. The aim of this study is to determine how COVID-19 impacted rice farmers' household food availability and their strategies to cope with this uncertain situation. This research is using qualitative research with a case study approach at Pelem Village Grobogan Central Java. The sample selection using purposive and snowball sampling method. The results of this research showed contradicting responses based on the farmers' status (agriculture as the main job or just a side job) and their access to another source of income that affected how COVID-19 Impacted their activities and rejected that COVID-19 Impacted their activities. In this study it is shown that the cultural factors of farmers who live simply and who plant food commodities are more resistant than the other farmers who plant other types of commodities and lower class income society in the city. Their strategies include selling a larger proportion of their yields because the harvest prices decreased taking side jobs outside the agriculture sector taking more from their own stocks and local granary and also received assistance from the government such as (BSTBPNTJPS).
